My Babysense HDS2 Split-Screen Monitor says “waiting for connection” or won’t pair with the camera

  • This could be caused by interference with other 2.4GHz devices, such as your mobile phone, portable computer, other camera, or similar devices, which are connected to your home WiFi network and are located very close to the parent or baby units. To avoid such interference issues, it is always recommended to keep such devices at least 5 feet away from the monitor. In most cases it is enough to move your mobile device about 8-10 inches away from the monitor and this should solve the problem.
  • We recommend deleting the paired cameras, powering the monitor ON and OFF and then resetting the device. Once completed then re-pair the desired cameras.
  • Another possible cause could be issues with the power adapter. Please switch between the power adapters of the camera and parent unit.
