V43 - Charging & Battery Life
Charging the Parent Unit
Your V43 parent unit includes a built-in rechargeable 2100 mAh lithium battery. Before using the monitor for the first time, fully charge the parent unit using the included USB power adapter.
- Charge time: Approximately 8 hours
- The monitor can be used while connected to power.
Tip: Keeping the monitor plugged in during extended use will ensure uninterrupted monitoring.
Battery Life
Battery life varies depending on how the monitor is used.
| Mode | Expected Battery Life |
|---|---|
| Normal Mode (screen on) | Up to 6 hours |
| ECO Mode | Up to 10 hours |
Factors such as screen brightness, volume level, and continuous screen use may reduce battery life.
What is ECO Mode?
ECO Mode helps extend battery life by turning the display off when no sound is detected. The screen automatically wakes when your baby makes noise, allowing you to conserve battery without missing important sounds.
Charging Tips
To maximize battery performance:
- Fully charge the monitor before unplugging it.
- Use the included Babysense power adapter.
- Enable ECO Mode for longer battery life.
- Keep the monitor connected to power during overnight monitoring if possible.
Battery Indicators
The battery icon on the parent unit displays the current charge level.
- Full battery: Monitor is fully charged.
- Low battery: Recharge the monitor as soon as possible.
- Charging icon: Indicates the battery is currently charging.
Good to Know
- The monitor can remain plugged in during normal use.
- Charging time may vary slightly depending on the remaining battery level.
- If the battery appears to drain faster over time, reducing screen brightness and using ECO Mode can help extend operating time.
