If one or more buttons on your Parent Unit are unresponsive, or if the Power (On/Off) button is stuck or not functioning correctly, try the troubleshooting steps below.
Step 1: Reset the Parent Unit
- Ensure the Parent Unit has some battery charge or is connected to power.
- Locate the Reset hole on the back of the Parent Unit, just below the antenna.
- Using a paperclip or another thin, non-sharp object, gently press and hold the reset button for 2–3 seconds.
- Allow the Parent Unit to restart.
Once the Parent Unit has restarted, check whether the buttons are responding normally.
If the Issue Persists
If the buttons are still not working after performing a reset:
- Check whether the button is physically stuck or obstructed.
- If possible, test the Parent Unit while connected to its original power adapter.
- If the issue continues, the Parent Unit may require further assessment.
