Babysense Dreamer Device – Troubleshooting Offline

If your Dreamer device appears Offline in the app or you experience connectivity problems, it usually relates to Wi-Fi, power, or device status. Follow these steps to resolve the issue.


Possible Causes

  1. Wi-Fi Connection Issues
    • The Dreamer requires a stable Wi-Fi connection (2.4GHz only).
    • If the device loses internet connectivity, it will appear Offline in the app.
  2. Router or Network Problems
    • Weak signal or incorrect router settings can prevent the Dreamer from staying connected.
    • Ensure your router is working properly and located within range.
  3. Power Supply Issues
    • Verify that the Dreamer is plugged into a working power outlet.
    • Check the power indicator light on the device.
  4. Main Power Button Turned Off
    • The Dreamer has a main power button located on the bottom of the device, If this button is off, the device will appear Offline.
  5. Battery Depleted
    • If the internal battery is empty, the device will also appear Offline.
  6. Rare Case: Device Stuck
    • In rare situations, the Dreamer may freeze or become unresponsive, causing it to show Offline.
    • To fix this, use the Reset button:
      • The reset button is small and recessed, located on the bottom of the device near the main power button.
      • Press it with a thin, pointed object (like a paperclip).
      • This will restart and reset the device.

How to Fix Wi-Fi Issues

  • Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz (Dreamer does not support 5GHz).
  • Restart your router and the Dreamer device.
  • If you need to change the Wi-Fi network, use the app settings to update the network configuration.

In the App

  • If the device shows Offline, it is usually due to:
    • Internet connectivity issues.
    • Router signal strength problems.
    • Device power status (turned off or battery empty).
    • Rare freeze requiring a reset.

Tips

  • Place the Dreamer close to your router for better signal strength.
  • Avoid interference from other devices or thick walls.
  • Regularly check the main power button and battery level.
