My V43 monitor dies after I disconnect it from power source
-
- It could be that the power adapter is not working properly and thus hasn’t charged.
- Switch between the power adapters of the camera and parent units.
- If that solves the issue, then the problem is with the power adapter.
- If the issue persists, try to reset the monitor:
Note: If the battery has been wet, dropped, or damaged then this process must not be performed.
- Please disconnect the power cords from your cameras.
- Disconnect the parent unit from the power adapter and electrical outlet.
- Lay the parent unit down on a flat dry surface (ensuring your hands are dry too).
- Open the battery compartment and disconnect the battery. Remove the battery from the battery compartment and place it on a flat surface (not on the parent unit).
- Wait 2 minutes and then reconnect the battery and close the battery compartment.
- Reconnect the power adapters to the electrical outlet and the parent unit.
- Power the parent unit on.
- Ensure the power button at the back of the camera is in the ON position.
